Welcome

From November 7, 2015 to January 21, 2017, Dominicans worldwide will celebrate the 800th Jubilee (anniversary) of the approval of the Order of Preachers by Pope Honorius III in 1216.  The Dominican friars of St. Dominic's in San Francisco invite you to join us as we commemorate this historic milestone and look forward to the next 800 years.

We will update this page throughout our Jubilee year to inform you of events at our parish and throughout the Province. We welcome you to celebrate with us!

OFFICIAL JUBILEE PRAYER

God, Father of mercy,
who called your servant Dominic de Guzman
to set out in faith
as an itinerant pilgrim and a preacher of grace,
as we celebrate the Jubilee of the Order
we ask you to pour again into us
the Spirit of the Risen Christ,
that we might faithfully and joyfully proclaim
the Gospel of peace,
through the same Christ our Lord. Amen
