The Musicians of St. Dominic's

The musicians of St. Dominic's Catholic Church provide music for weekday and Sunday Masses as well as Solemnities, Holy Days and many special services such as weddings, memorial services and funerals.
Liturgical music is a sacred art form. We are mandated by the church to use only live music, not recordings. Our challenge is to recreate the sounds envisaged by the composer through the medium of printed notation to lift the soul of the worshipper to a higher plane. The music that we perform is of the same quality as the arts forms found in our national art galleries and museums.
Our regular pattern of music making is:
|6:30 AM Mass||Said|
|8 AM Mass||Cantor|
|5:30 PM Mass||St. Jude Mass with hymns|
|5:30 PM Saturday Vigil Mass||Cantor|
|7:30 AM Quiet Mass||No music|
|9:30 AM Family Mass||Family Mass Choir|
|11:30 AM Solemn Mass||Schola Cantorum|
|1:30 PM St. Jude Mass in Spanish||Spanish Choir and Ensemble|
|5:30 PM Mass||Contemporary Choir & Ensemble|
|9 PM Candlelight Mass||Cantor led Taizé music|
